Look, even Starbucks does it, So,I hope you have decided to set up a Facebook fan page, that you understand the benefits, and can make it work for you.  But, just in case you’re still not sure how to take advantage of it fully.    The following are some thing that you can do to use your Facebook fan page for your advantage.

Use it to build your brand. You will want to carry any branding that you have established over from your website. This might be in the way of colors, logos or something similar.

Use it to build a list. You’ve probably heard before that the money is in the list.  Therefore, you will want to use all of your networking and marketing efforts to build that list, even using your Facebook fan page.  You can even add an opt-in box from your newsletter to convert those Facebook fans into mailing list subscribers.

Use it as a chance to interact with your market, get suggestions, test new ideas and entertain discussions. The fan page is a great place for interaction so use it to your advantage, ask questions, take polls, and discuss issues.

Use it to promote events, products and services. It is a great place to “get the word out” about whatever is going on in your business.  Plus, your fans can even in turn share the info on their own Facebook page, multiplying your efforts.

Use it to link to your blog for more exposure. Facebook has a build in super easy way to share your blog posts right on your Facebook fan page wall.  This is a great way to gain more exposure for your blog.

    You should be adding links to your fan page in your email signature, from your website and other various places.
