Tips You Can Use: 5 Ways to Show Appreciation to Your Clients

As a business owner you couldn’t make it without your clients.  They are the lifeblood of your business and therefore you want to be sure to show them your appreciation.  The following are some tips for doing so in some easy and painless ways.  They include:

Sending them a personal email. Not for business, but simply to tell them how much you enjoy working with them.  It is always nice to receive a friendly email in the mass of emails that we all receive on a daily basis, just think of how it would make your day to receive such an email.

Acknowledge them in your social networks. If you’re an online business owner you likely spend a lot of time in the area of social networking.  Many of your clients probably do so as well.  If you find them out there on your social networks acknowledge their presence and speak to them and interact with them as a person, not just a client.

Send them a referral or help them connect with a great prospect or joint venture connection. It is not only a nice thing to do but a good business practice to help connect others.  Connecting a client with someone you know who they could benefit from or that could benefit from them is a great practice to start.

Give them written recommendation that they can use in their newsletter, in emails and on other sites. As a business owner you have likely asked others for testimonials or recommendations of you to share with prospective clients.  This can work the other way around as well you can give clients recommendations or testimonials that tell others that this client is easy to work with and someone they would enjoy working with.  

Send them a note in the mail. Taking the time to write a hand written note to a client can mean so much to them.  It truly shows your appreciation and that you were willing to take the time out of your busy schedule to think of them.  It can do wonders for your business.
