It’s social bookmarking week, while we celebrate it I wanted you to know why I talk about it so much and why I consider it so important.  I talk and talk and talk about social bookmarking and no one is listening. Social Bookmarking has many benefits to your website, your business, your traffic.

Here are some reasons why social bookmarking is beneficial to us as business owners:

It’s free advertising / marketing. It is one of the many ways those of us who are on a “shoestring” budget can market our businesses and get our names out there.

Helps with page ranking. If you’ve tried and tried to get your “Google” page rank up then social bookmarking can be one of the things which may put you over the edge.

Social bookmarking sells. There are people who pay top dollar to be ranked among the top social bookmarking sites.  If it’s worth that kinda dough then we must take notice.
