How to Prepare Your Social Media for 2010

Tomorrow is a New Year!  It is time to prepare your social media for the new year.  You want to be sure that you’re using social media to its fullest in the new year for your business.  Here’s some things to think about and look at:

Update your profile information. You may have had some changes in your business or your interests.  Make sure you profiles reflect this.  You may want to make changes or add or remove information.  This is a good time to do so.

Check your links. Have you added any new websites blogs or additional social networks – are you linking to them.  Having these things linked together will make it easier for people to find and communicate with you.

Review your social networks. Now is a good time and opportunity to review the social networks that you are involved in and determine if they are working for you.  Do they provide what you are looking for or do you need to go elsewhere?

Update your photo.  You will want to have an up to date photo.   This is important especially for networking with others.  You want to look like you do today, not ten years ago.
