1. Target others with similar interests.  Don’t just randomly begin networking with just anyone.  You want to have something in common with them and a way that you can truly “connect”.

2.  Offer something of value or interest.  You do not want to waste anyone’s time.  Facebook after all can be a huge time-sucker if you don’t use it correctly.

3.  Begin with relationship building rather than selling.  You do not want to merely try to “sell” them something or you won’t have much luck with using Facebook for business.

These are just a few short tips that can help you as you begin using Facebook for business purposes.  After all, you want to start out on the right foot.
