Dawn’s View: Social Networking – Offline?

So it’s my business to promote social networking and the importance of using social networks to grow your business. But I found a local real world networking group that I have joined and has been great for me and my business for many different reasons.  All reasons which I would encourage you to do so for these reasons as well.

The ability to networking with others. This is an obvious benefit in that you get to see other people live and in person instead of via computer.

Developing Confidence. I spoke to a real crowd for the first time ever, since doing speeches in school; which didn’t go well, I didn’t make a fool of myself and that’s all that mattered to me.

Learning from the expertise of other members.  Gave me the opportunity to learn from others in a different setting than just online.

Running a business takes an all around approach and offline networking is just as important as online.
