Personal Branding: What?

Many business owners spend a great deal of time on creating their business brand or branding their products and /or services, but in the age of social media, when you want to be “known” online you must also create a personal brand as well.  You can do so by determining what you are most passionate about and letting others know this.  It is much like choosing your niche.  You then share your passions with others through your personal brand.

You can use social media to truly make your own personal “footprint”, from a Facebook page to a Twitter profile, even on your own business card and website you can share who you are and what you are about, that is going to be important to your personal branding success.

After all, you want people to know who you are and as a result come to you for those things that you are known for and are most passionate about, which is how your product and business brand work hand in hand with your personal brand.
