Digg In a Twitter World

There’s a new Digg in town.  Digg is a long time social bookmarking site, but it needed some updating and that’s exactly what it has gotten.  It’s now up to date with new features, such as being able to share your just dug post via Twitter and Facebook.

Some other new features are the “suggested users” feature, much like Twitter and Facebook have already implemented.  The submission process has also been streamlined.  When you begin to post a link it pulls it up and displays a thumbnail much like on Facebook.  It will also show you if the link has already been shared.

Digg is an oldie who truly needed the updates.  Now we can welcome it into the ranks of those that are up to date.
